Penguatan Peran Masyarakat Pesisir dalam Implementasi Ekonomi Biru Berkelanjutan di Pantai Leato Selatan, Kota Gorontalo

Kawasan pesisir Pantai Leato Selatan, Kota Gorontalo, memiliki potensi sumber daya laut yang signifikan, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sumber daya yang berkelanjutan. Konsep ekonomi biru merupakan pendekatan strategis untuk mendorong pemanfaatan sumber daya laut secara berkelanjutan sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, kesadaran, dan partisipasi masyarakat pesisir dalam mendukung implementasi ekonomi biru dan manfaat sumber daya laut. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi survei awal, penyuluhan dan pendidikan, serta diskusi interaktif yang melibatkan masyarakat pesisir, personel dari Pangkalan Angkatan Laut Gorontalo, komunitas penyelam, mahasiswa, dan dosen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang konsep ekonomi biru, peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga ekosistem laut, dan pengembangan sinergi multi-pemangku kepentingan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendorong partisipasi masyarakat sebagai kunci keberhasilan pembangunan ekonomi biru yang berkelanjutan.
